was watching the sky while the sunshine faded to gray.
went through a spectrum of colours and shades
the cycle of light and darkness.
the sky's so magnificent you can feel in your guts that there's something so much bigger up there.
that knows all of this. and made all this; consciously or unconsciously.
and just for a while in the sweet silence
you're at peace with everything.
but once it passes
you're back in the world
bereft of whatever good there was.
